One of the first things you find out about a person when you meet them is what they do.  Our identity as people is so closely tied to the job that employs us.  To lose that job can sometimes leave one feeling empty and lost.  For the first time in American history, there may be more women than men in the United States labor force.  How should we think through the issue of unemployment as Christians?  How can Christians help their brothers and sisters who are struggling with finding work?  Could it be that losing a job could provide one with more time for new gospel opportunities?  As Dr. Mohler notes on today’s program, the Church should be prepared to help people find their strengths and get busy, doing things for the glory of God.
