Is faithfulness in marriage a good thing, or has monogamy become overrated?  The Los Angles Times has recently reported on the state of monogamy in marriage, claiming that while monogamy is a viable option for couples, human beings are not naturally made for resolute faithfulness in relationships.  The New York Times simultaneously reports that many fathers are finding through DNA testing that the children they thought were their own are actually not.  Though these two articles come from two very different sources, they reveal biblical truth about the same issue: monogamy matters.  Faithfulness in marital relationships is imperative for the health of both the family and society at large.
