Thankfulness Beyond Words

Thank you to all who prayed for me during my recent hospitalization and health crisis. I can assure you that God blessed your prayers, along with your many, many gestures of encouragement. I will be in a period of recovery for some time. The Lord taught me so much during the crisis — and He is teaching me much during days of forced rest and recovery. I will be writing about these things in days to come.

Dr. Mohler released from the hospital

Dr. Mohler was discharged this morning from Louisville’s Baptist Hospital East. After a two week hospitalization that included extensive abdominal surgery and a four day stay in the Intensive Care Unit due to pulmonary emboli in the lungs, he and the family are overjoyed to be back home.

Dr. Mohler out of intensive care

Dr. Mohler was moved out of intensive care and into a private room at Baptist Hospital East this afternoon and continues to improve following complications from abdominal surgery that was performed Dec. 28.
