In an historic 5-4 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court has affirmed the government’s right to ban the partial birth abortion procedure. The Gonzales v. Carhart decision comes in the same week as the worst mass shooting in American history, forcing us to ask if there is any reason to hope for a renewed appreciation of life in today’s culture of death.
